Breathemail November 5th 2012

Morning all,

Are we ready for the fireworks tonight? I had a few displays going off around me on Saturday night. This week has started busily, I'm just in from Bispham and assembly and I'm off to George Spencer in a bit as well. The rest of the week looks like this:

Wednesday I'm taking time out to pray and listen to God as plans for Christmas and future events work themselves out, and in the evening I've got a planning meeting for the youth and uniformed groups Carol Service on Thursday December 6th at St Peter's, so it's apologies to Leadership Team meeting!
Thursday brings George Spencer for Showcase in the afternoon and then youth club in the evening.
Friday brings Friday Zone in the evening at TMC for anyone in Years 3 to 6, 6.15 to 7.45 pm.
Sunday  is Remembrance Sunday and we have services across the churches - at 10.30 at St Peter's we will be sharing in a family service and marking the occasion, while at Toton Methodist there will be a more traditional Remembrance Service at 10.30. The Breathe groups will be meeting in the evening only this Sunday, at 7.00 pm at St Peter's.


Facebook & Twitter
Last week as part of our Christmas publicity we set up a Toton Churches Twitter feed, (@TotonChurches if you want to follow us) and one or two people have already found the Toton Churches Facebook profile we have set up. That is purely so we could link Twitter to the Toton Churches Facebook page (here) and we will not be using the profile, so please do not be offended if we ignore friend requests on that page!

We will also be continuing to use the Breathe Facebook profile (http://www.facebook.com/breathetoton and Twitter feed (@BreatheToton), and this is probably a good point to remind you that if you are currently, or were when I first met you in Toton, under 18, this is where to find me on Facebook and Twitter rather than my personal page.

Parachute Jump
Lastly, a huge thank you to everyone who sponsored my and encouraged me doing the CMS "Jump for Jesus" parachute jump over half term, there are pics on Facebook here, and fundraising has just this weekend gone through the £750 mark, so a huge thank you.
