Well, the summer term has arrived, and as the day has gone on it has become more summer like.... Let's hope that March was not our summer for this year! It may be the first week of term but it's time to hit the ground running with a busy week!
Monday started with a meeting at George Spencer preparing to launch a new Christian Union on May 14th, only a few weeks away now. I'm kicking off my "day off" a bit early tonight as I have a meeting tomorrow evening.
Tuesday I'm at a Governors meeting at Bispham in the evening after a restful day off (I hope!)
Wednesday There is no Cafe breathe this week as the Youth Leaders meeting is one of 4 I could be at! Some folk will be at the All Age Planning meeting, others at the Local Preachers meeting and if I could make it to all of those, I could also add the Police and Community Meeting in Chilwell as well.... How do you be in 4 places at once....?
Thursday Another day, another lunchtime meeting, looking at school curriculum. Then it's on to Showcase at George Spencer and Youth Club in the evening at Toton Methodist.
Friday GYM re-starts this week as well, Toton Methodist in the evening.
Sunday I'm not sure yet which church I'll be starting off at, but both The Zone and Breathe are meeting at St Peter's during the 10.30 services, and Breathe Deeper is on in the evening at St P's as well, 7.00 til 8.30 pm.
Attachment - I don't normally send out attachments with this email but I've attached a (very) brief outline of the terms themes/activities etc for each group. Printed copies areavailable at both St Peter's and Toton Methodist churches.
Soul Survivor We are still taking bookings for this, for anyone in Year 7 and above. All the information is either on their website or available at the relevant groups.
Beyond that I will not go for this week! Have a good one and see you around Toton/school church in the coming days.
