Good morning everyone and happy new year! (Yes, I know it's not even December but the new church year starts with Advent each year so yesterday was the fist day of the new year..... Confused yet?)

This week is fairly quiet before I have my fist Christmas event next Monday! It really does feel like the calm before the storm as I look ahead in my diary....

Today I'm at session 2 of the Child Protection Training course, and with that hat on, a provisional date for your diaries is Feb 15th next year when we'll be running a local evening looking at Child Protection. If you are a leader/helper/volunteer with any of our groups at Toton Churches, please put this date in your diary now.

Tomorrow I'm on a day off.

Wednesday I'll be in George Spencer for a meeting at lunchtime about Quizmas, a lunchtime quiz we're organising before term ends and I'll be at Cafe Breathe for at least part of the evening.

Thursday I'll be at Showcase in the afternoon and Youth Club in the evening. In the evening there is also a music practice for anyone interested in helping with the music for the youth carol celebration the following Thursday.

Friday I'll be at GYM in the evening.

Sunday I'm leading the youth group during the morning services and will be starting off at TMC before walking down to St P's. Breathe Deeper is on in the evening.

Next week, well, that's a rather different one! More on that next week ;-)
