Half term is looming already, where did September go? I'm back in the swing of things after a week at PGL last week, and I've almost caught up on lost sleep... This week is a regular one, and I've got a couple of plugs later on:
Today I'm dealing with paperwork and preparing for 25BC which promises to be a great event, I just need to remember to get some sleep at it....
Tomorrow Speaking of sleep, I'm having a day off! With Sunday being a regular working day for me I try and take Tuesdays off each week, though it hasn't really happened this term.....
Wednesday I'll be at Cafe Breathe this week. Christian Union at George Spencer is taking a break until just before Christmas when we'll be running a Quizmas event at lunchtime.
Thursday Showcase is definitely on, I will be there and we'll see if Steve is there or still waiting.... Youth Club is on in the evening at Toton Methodist Church in the evening.
Friday Play and Praise is on in the afternoon, and GYM Youth Club is on in the evening, both at Toton Methodist.
Sunday I'll be running the Yr 6 + group at St Peter's in the morning, and in the evening Breathe Deeper will be looking at Ruth Ch 3 and Marriage.
Looking ahead to half term, I've already mentioned 25BC, check the link for more information. It's a chance to hang out with your mates, reflect and pray, sleep (?) and spend the night playing games, watching DVDs and so much more.
At the end of half term there is a really good event happening at Southwell Minster on Halloween, Monday October 31st after school. I've got loads of flyers for it, and will hopefully have a link up next week.
Finally, on Friday October 21st we're having a movie night at youth club. If anyone has got any Veggie Tales DVDs, please can you let me know and we'll ask to borrow one? Thanks.
