Breathemail September 5th 2011

Did anyone see the summer holidays? They seem to have passed in a mighty rush! A new term has arrived on our doorsteps, and along with it some new changes to  the programme here at Breathe. The obvious one is that Amy is no longer with us, we wish her well in her studies at Oxford, starting later this month. Most of our groups start back next week, but this week is busy enough, so here are a few dates for your diaries/reminders.

As always, if you don't want to receive this weekly email, please just reply with the word "Stop" or similar and I'll take you off the list.

This Week:

Wednesday I'll be in Costa at 3.00 pm this week, though this may not be an every week thing this term, we'll see how it develops. At 7.30 pm there is a get-together for anyone who will be helping out at the Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/Sunday evening groups. It's in the youth room at St P's, and will be finished by 9.00 pm. 

Thursday I'm in George Spencer for much of the day to give an insight into life in Zambia as part of Geography and RS for year 9. (I'll be in several times over the next 3 weeks.) There is no Showcase this week.

Friday I'm back in George Spencer for another Yr 9 group.

Sunday The team that travelled to Zambia are leading the 10.30 all-age service at St Peter's this Sunday, with input throughout from all 11 of us. Breathe Deeper starts this week for anyone in Year 7 and above, in the youth room upstairs at St Peter's, 7.00 pm til 8.30 pm. This week will be a relaxed, chilled out, chat-about-your-summer kind of evening. 

Next Week:

As well as being in George Spencer Monday, Wednesday and Thursday next week, all our other groups start up:

Wednesdays - Cafe Breathe has switched night, but at the same time, 7.00 til 8.30 pm, at Toton Methodist Church for anyone in Year 9 and above.

Thursdays - We are launching a new youth club (any suggestions for a name?) for anyone in Years 7 and 8, at Toton Methodist Church from 7.00 pm til 8.30 pm each week. 

Fridays - GYM youth club will be back, as usual, from 6.15 to 7.45 pm for anyone in Years 3 to 6 at Toton Methodist. 

Sundays - Breathe Deeper, a chance to think and chat about things a bit deeper than we do during the week meets at St Peter's from 7.00 til 8.30.
