As my compatriots celebrate with fireworks and lots of food, this Monday is a bit quieter in Toton...
Monday - Andy is away on a Outdoor First Aid Course until Wednesday, so it's just me around during the day and at Brownies this evening.
Tuesday - Andy is still on the course and I'm on a day off.
Wednesday - I'm in Oxford for the day looking at possible accommodation for next year. Andy will be back just in time for Costa in the afternoon at 3pm.
Thursday - Andy and I will be up at George Spencer in the afternoon for Showcase, and then at the Methodist church for Cafe Breathe in the evening. This group is for Year 9 and above, so if you've just moved up to Year 9 this week at George Spencer, you're very welcome. This chill evening starts at 7pm and goes until 8:30pm.
Friday - I'll be at Play and Praise in the afternoon, and then we'll both be at Youth Club in the evening.
Saturday - The team going to Zambia will be gathering for a Group Orientation day at the Methodist church.
Sunday - In the morning, the All Age service at St Peters at 10:30am will be followed by a BBQ for young people and their families at the Methodist church. If you'd like to come and haven't told us yet, please do today so we can finalize numbers! In the evening, Breathe Deeper will be looking at ambition and celebrity culture, so come along dressed as your favourite celebrity!
That's a lot for one week, but there's even more coming up in the next two months! For those of you that started the Bible in One Yearchallenge with us in September, I know its been really hard, and we've all fallen behind. Since it was at Soul Survivor that we were inspired to take this on, my new challenge is to read all of the July Bible in One Year readings before Soul Survivor starts on 29th July! I think we can do it guys! So pick up your Bible, open up to 1st July, and get going!
Coming up at the end of August is Holiday Special! There are now forms available in both churches to sign up for this week of fun and activities. Check it out!
