Weekly Email August 17th

Afternoon everybody,

The first day back in the office seems to have been filled with emails and setting diaries for the next few weeks. In terms of activities, this week is fairly quiet, but plans are coming together for September, watch this space!

On Wednesday there is an opportunity for us to look back on the Sleepout last Christmas. Marianne Knight from Framework is coming to chat to me about various bits and pieces, and would love to meet some of you who did the sleepout - she's putting an article about it in the Framework annual report. If you can make it to my house for 2.30 on Wednesday afternoon, you are very welcome to come along and share your thoughts and experiences. Please let me know if you are coming beforehand though, so I can make enough brews! On Wednesday, Amy begins her journey to the UK as she goes to a preparation conference before flying over the following week.
Thursday will see me at Starbucks from 2 for an hour or two (depending on how the afternoon goes!), feel free to drop in for a chat.
Sunday morning sees activities at TMC for all ages during the services at both churches, and in the evening I'll be at St P's from 7 til about 9.00. We will need another adult helper to come along and join the fun, a willing volunteer would be welcome, otherwise I'll be looking for a not-quite-willing volunteer! Please email me if you can come along.

In the meantime, enjoy the British summer, and see you around during the week.

Andy

PS Did anyone notice this is post no 200 on the blog?
