Afternoon everyone,
My apologies that this is a little late coming out today, but I've been playing with the sound at TMC getting ready for next week's confirmation service and celebration.
This week's a busy one, so on with the diary for the enxt few days:
Wednesday - Ju Yeon and I are at George Spencer on Wednesday for CU at lunchtime.
Thursday - we're back at Georgie for Showcase in the afternoon. Yo0uth cafe is on from 7 - 8.00 at TMC, closing early in time for the Lent course also at TMC.
Friday - Play & Praise, GYM and Rock Solid at the usual times.
Sunday - It's the 2nd Sunday in the month, so it's a combined all age service at TMC from 10.30. Breathe is on in the evening, but there's a change in plans - the session runs from 8.00 - 9.00pm at TMC. This is cos there's a rehersal for the confirmation service on from 7.00 - 8.00 at TMC for anyone being confirmed.
The following week is dominated by two special services, confirmation on Tuesday and Hazel's licensing in Rainworth and Blidworth on Wednesday.
The Confirmation Service is at TMC on Tuesday March 10th, and will be huge! We have 12 teenagers and an adult being confirmed from Toton, along with 15 visitors from the Diocese, so we're expecting a full house! There will be a video link into Room 1 at TMC as well as seats in the main hall....
Hazel's Licensing is the following evening at 7.00 pm. Rachel and I have one spare seat in our car, if you would like a lift, please get in touch. (First come, first served!)
At the end of next week, the Friends of Toton Fields group are oganising a maintenance day on Sunday March 15th, meeting at the Greenwood Centre at 10.00 am. The top 2 Sunday School groups are both going to be part of it (there'll be no sessions at TMC/St P's that morning for those groups), if you want to come along rather than go to church that moring, please fill out one of the consent forms attached to this weeks email. (If you're on the blog, email me for a copy.)
I'm going to leave it there for now, if there's more to come later I'll pass it on!
Andy
