Weekly Email Feb 9th 2009

Morning everyone,

There's still snow on the ground, half term is approaching, surely a good combination...! Here's this week:

Monday - Ju Yeon is on her day off, I'll be running the Confirmation Class at St P's from 6.30 to 7.30 this evening.
Tuesday - I'm off for the day, Ju Yeon will be shopping for heart-shaped sponges and other things Alpha weekend orientated.....
Wednesday - we're both in George Spencer for CU at lunchtime and if you wan to meet at Starbucks at any time, drop us an email to arrange a time.
Thursday - Showcase after school and in the evening Cafe Breathe will run this week regardless of what the weather might throw down upon us. Year 9 to 11, TMC from 7.00 - 8.30.
Friday - GYM is happening this week but there is no Rock Solid as many of us are away on the Youth Alpha Weekend.
Sunday - as Dave, Ju Yeon and I are away, there will be a combined Sunday School group for Year 6 and up, venue to be confirmed later this week - watch the blog for details.

Looking further ahead:
Half Term - most groups will take a break, but there will be a Confirmation Class on the Monday (Feb 16th) and I'll also run a catch-up session on the Thursday afternoon (times to be confirmed after tonight's session).
On the Sunday of half term, we say farewell to Her Curateness Hazel Robinson as she prepares to become Her Loyal Vicar-type Person of the Parish of Rainworth and Blidworth (somewhere up north apparently...) , and there will be a combined service at St P's at 10.30 that morning, but Sunday morning groups will run for the usual age groups, but all at St P's that morning.
