Fancy a BLT?

Someone wrote on one of my care cards at the end of the Hathersage weekend - "Tell me how to do it please". If that was you, or you are interested in finding out a little bit more about youth leadership, keep an eye out for the launch of BLT in the next few weeks. No, it's not a sarny with 3 different types of teenager in the middle, it's Breathe Leadership Training.

It's for anyone aged 15 to 19 (initially at least, may be expanded later) who wants to find out a bit more about what they've got that can be grown into a leadership role. If that's you, get involved!

It will involve 6 two hour sessions and 6 one hour sessions over 6 months. The 2 hour sessions will be as a group looking at things like leadership styles, role models, youth & leadership culture and other stuff. The 1 hour sessions will be one-to-one with a mentor in between the group sessions.

If you are interested in being part of the first BLT run, please get in touch with me as soon as possible. I'm hoping to get the first session in in March and then sort dates out that suit around exams etc.

In the meantime, Coke or Pepsi? Coke every time for me! If you're part of RS, hope to see you later on. If you're not, enjoy your evening and weekend before school again on Monday.....

Andy
