Weekly Email Updates

Greetings again!

As I mentioned earlier in the week, I was waiting for a couple of small details on the sleepout.

The first is that we are initially limiting numbers for this event to 24, so make sure you book your place early! You can do this either by emailing me or returning your registration form to me. First come, first served. Also, if anyone can lend us a tarpaulin or groundsheet for the night, please let me know. We have one so far.....

Moving on from that, in the recent surveys about the possible youth exchange, America got 7 votes, Europe (various countries) 5, South Africa 4, and others 4. As for a minimum age, 14 was the most popular. I'll be putting the information into a managable form for next week, so keep an eye out for it. The next step will be to have a look over that information yourselves over Christmas and then come to a meeting on January 8th (a Thursday) at TMC @ 7.30 pm At that meeting we'll narrow things down to one country and what type of project we want to go for. I'll then take that proposal to the Joint Churches Council meeting the following week.

Next week, the Christmas parties for GYM and Rock Solid are both taking place next Friday evening, and the times change slightly.

GYM: 6.15 - 8.00 pm
Rock Solid: 7.30 - 10.00 pm.

Finally, this Sunday, I'm leading the Year 9 and up group at Sunday School and could do with an adult helper please.... We are short of leaders/helpers at Sunday School at the moment, so if you could help out with this session, please let me know.

Thanks,

Andy
