Help! It's November! Here's to fireworks on Wednesday night then....

Just in case you don't fancy fireworks this week, there are some other things happening:

Wednesday - There's a change to the plan, as the CU @ George Spencer moves from Thursday to Wednesday lunchtime, still in Room 64 (Technology). Ju Yeon and I will both be there this week. We'll follow that up with a visit to Starbucks at the usual time.
Thursday - We're back in George Spencer for Showcase at 3.30 in Base 4.
Friday - Ju Yeon is at Play and Praise, and then we're both at GYM and Rock Solid from 6.15 and 8 pm respectively. If you are coming to either group, be aware that there will be a bit of paint around this week!
Sunday - in the morning there's a combined all age worship @ TMC for Remembrance Sunday, and Alpha @ Breathe is on from 7 @ St P's.

Youth exchange:
If you are interested in going on an exchange with a youth group in another country, the first deadline is looming already! I need to have as many completed Partner Search forms back as possible by next Sunday, November 9th. If you want more info, please do email me or ask me in person on Friday at RS, or on Sunday. Or ring me. Or try a pigeon, but they aren't very reliable. Particularly if called Speckled Jim. (Big bonus points to anyone who can tell me who owned Speckled Jim, and who shot him on the Western Front!)

Christmas:
As well as all the parties in the run up to Christmas, we are also giving you a chance to experience the other side of Christmas. On Saturday December 20th we're running a sleepout in support of Framework, a charity that works with homeless and vulnerable people in Nottingham. It will be a chance to experience what it's like to spend the night outside on a cold winter's night with minimal shelter. More info will appear over the next couple of weeks, but log the date now, it will be an unusual event, but really rewarding.

We are also repeating our hot chocolate giveaway on the week beginning December 15th, again more details will appear soon, watch out for the posters.

Sunday Mornings:
5 of us from Toton, all leaders in different Breathe groups, will be away for a weekend of training and support over the weekend of November 14th to 16th, so over the next few weeks Sunday mornings will be slightly different:
Nov 9th - no sessions as it's all age worship
Nov 16th - both top groups will be combined as Dave, Ju Yeon and I are all away at the conference, and both groups will meet at TMC at the usual time.
Nov 23rd - I'm preaching at St P's @ 10.30, so my group are invited to stay in and listen to me or Malcolm Wilson who's preaching at TMC that morning.
