Weekly Email Nov 10th & 17th 2008

Morning everyone,

It seems Toton is doing it's bit to prepare me for a weekend in Southport - wet and windy! Several of us are off to the Youthwork Conference this weekend (http://www.youthworkconference.co.uk/ if you are interested), so there will be a few minor changes to things this week, and then the following week I'll be in Dublin but Rachel will be here. That said, everything will run as scheduled. Here's this week:

Monday - Ju Yeon is off today, but I'm around to take any queries you might have about anything.
Tuesday - I'm off for the day, and Ju Yeon is at Beavers in the evening.
Wednesday - We are both in Bispham school for assembly on Wednesday morning, and Ju Yeon will be at Cu in George Spencer (Room 65 from now on) at lunchtime and in Starbucks in the afternoon. I travel towards Southport in the afternoon, so won't be at Starbucks.
Thursday - I'm on retreat for 24 hours before the conference starts, Ju Yeon will be at Showcase in Base 4 @ George Spencer after school.
Friday - Dave, Mary, Sarah and Ju Yeon travel to Southport for the weekend, but GYM and Rock Solid are on at the normal times. A huge thank you to the extra volunteers who are helping keep both groups running, particularly Rock Solid. (Remember this Friday at RS is a craft focussed evening.)
Saturday - the conference continues; please keep us in prayer through the weekend as we seek to improve our skills and abilities as youth leaders.
Sunday - as several of the leaders are away, both of the top groups at Sunday School (my group and Dave/Irene/Ju Yeon's group) are meeting at Toton Methodist at the usual times - go to whichever church you go to and come out part way through as normal. Alpha @ Breathe is happening as normal in the evening, pudding at 7 and we'll take it from there. Ju Yeon, Mary and I might be a little tired.....

As I'll be away first thing next Monday morning, there probably won't be a weekly email, so here's next weeks outline:
Wednesday 19th - Starbucks as usual with Ju Yeon
Thursday 20th - Showcase @ Georege Spencer after school
Friday 21st - I'll be back in time for GYM and Rock Solid, assuming the flight is on time.... However, both groups will go on regardless!
Sunday 23rd - I'm preaching at St P's, so there won't be a Sunday School session for my group, however I will make the sermon interesting if you want to stay in for it. Alpha @ Breathe is on that evening as usual.

While we are away at the conference, my mobile will be on if there is anything urgent that comes up, though when I'm in Dublin I'll be on holiday, so the mobile will be off! At any time you can also contact Ju Yeon either by email on youthvolunteer@totonchurches.org or on the mobile number Maria had last year. The St Peter's office is also a good reference point - 0115 9462357.
