Weekly Email - Part 1

Greetings one and all,

There are two parts to this week’s email, Part two, about half term activities will come out tomorrow. In the meantime,

Here’s the rest of this week:

Today – we’re in Starbucks from 3 onwards, and then this evening we’d love to see as many people as possible at the open evening about a possible youth exchange. It’s at St P’s, at 7.30 and there’ll be tea/coffee/cold drinks available.
Thursday – the two groups at George Spencer are on as usual, CU in Room 64 at lunchtime and Showcase in Base 4 straight after school.
Friday – Play & Praise at the usual time, and GYM is meeting at TMC as normal. Rock Solid are going ice skating – if you haven’t returned your form yet, please bring it with you on Friday. You can download one from the blog. You will also need to have returned the annual consent form as well (the purple of green one). If you need one of these, email me urgently!
Sunday – various groups as usual during the services, I’ll be starting at St P’s this week. Breathe moves to the Methodist Church this week, for one week only at 7.00, and this week it’s a worship event, following on from tonight’s youth exchange meeting with a theme of “Mission” on Sunday evening. Music, videos, food and drink, prayer stations, What is Mission, and a load more.

I’m finalising half term later today and tomorrow morning, so will be in touch again with details of further events over next week – get your painting head on! A quick reminder about next week; if folk want to go to Water World on Stoke on Trent for a day out, I need to know as soon as possible who can help with transport and when suits people. I’ve had one offer, and might make an executive decision based on that info if no-one else lets me know what suits! (It will be a date that suits most people rather than everyone I’m afraid.)

Till tomorrow, in the words of a well known Psalmist, often quoted by Bruce Forsyth – keep dancing! (Psalm 149:3)

Andy
