Christmas 2008

It's Halloween, so my Irish logic says let's think about Christmas! After all, it's November tomorrow and Advent will start in a few weeks. Now that my mind is starting to think that way, we've confirmed some dates:

Hot Chocolate Giveaway: we'll be giving away steaming cups of hot chocoalte each morning on the last week of term again this year, so that's Monday December 15th to Friday December 19th at TMC from 7.30 each morning. Anyone that can help out, please let me know.

Sleepout for Framework: on Saturday December 20th we're organising a sleepout in support of Framework, a charity working with homeless and vulnerable people in Nottingham. It's open to anyone in Year 7 and above, and invovled in a youth group/activity connected to Toton Churches. To register now for email updates, email me on youthworker@totonchurches.org. We'll spend the night outdoors, with only our ingenuity and cardboard to keep us going!

Here's a pic from one Rachel and I did in Sheffield a couple of years ago, twas a rather cold night by a normally very busy road....

Well worth it, a very challenging night but very rewarding.
