Good morning everybody! (I’m trying to pretend I’m not as tired as I really am…)
It’s full steam ahead this week, all the groups are up and running, so here goes:
Tuesday – Ju Yeon heads to
Wednesday – I’m at Starbucks from 3 and at St P’s we launch ALF @ 6.30. After that it’s a glorious double-date; The (Methodist) circuit Education and Youth Committee is at 7.45 (If you are going, please note that it has moved to Wollaton Road and not Grangewood) @ 7.45 and for those involved the All Age Worship planning meeting is at 8 @ TMC.
Thursday – George Spencer Day! Showcase Plus is on in Rm 64 @ lunchtime, and in Base 4 after school Showcase the original kicks off with part 2 of The Lion King.
Friday – GYM and Rock Solid are on at the usual times @ TMC.
Sunday – Sunday School at both churches. If you are in my group, (Years 9 and up) please email me (the links to) your favourite Youtube clips so I can convert them before Sunday morning so we can watch them. I’ll be worshipping at TMC for the first part of the service, so if you are @ ST P’s and don’t see me around, don’t panic, there is a session! Sunday evening sees the launch of Youth Alpha, starting with pudding sharp @
Youth Alpha:
The sessions start this Sunday coming, and will start with food each week – have dinner at home and we’ll provide desert. You could even make it a second desert if you really wanted to… We’ll aim to finish the sessions between 8.30 and 8.45 to leave time for a brew and chat before we tidy up/go home at 9. If that’s going to be too late and you want to leave a bit earlier, let me know and we’ll arrange times.
Health and Consent Forms:
Many of you have already returned this year’s form – fantastic! If you haven’t, please do as soon as possible. This year the form has been designed to cover as many on-site events as possible, and it’s really helpful to have them back completed. There will be times over the year that without that form completed you won’t be able to come to some events.
