Banner Competition

We’re running competitions @ GYM and Rock Solid to design some banners for use at youth events – Friday nights, Sunday nights and more.

There are 3 categories:
GYM
Rock Solid
Breathe
and that word must appear in the design for that category. There will be at least one winner in each category, and the winners design will be turned into a banner.

There are more details on the back, and some samples can be seen on this blog.

All entries must be with Andy Glascott by Friday September 26th

The Rules:

The categories are for the following age groups:
GYM – anyone in Years 3 to 6
Rock Solid – Anyone in Years 7 and above
Breathe – anyone involved in any of the youth or children’s groups run by Toton Churches.

You can draw, use a computer, paint or sketch your design, and work on your own or in groups of up to 4.

The winning designs will be those that reflect what each group is about and show that each group is linked clearly to the Christian faith.

The leaders of the groups will shortlist the best designs in each group and they will be posted on the blog for you all to vote for the winners.

Some Tips:
Keep it simple
Use strong colours that stand out from each other
Remember to put your name to it!
Don’t put too much detail in
The finished banners will be on bed sheets – big!
